In the words of our singing Canadian friend, all good things come to an end and my spring break, unfortunately, was no exception. Seeing to the fact that I've been a hard-working student all year long and I felt like I needed to recharge my batteries before the final straight, I visited the place that can brighten up basically every girl's day- the mall.

Sometimes you find yourself planning a certain thing and getting yourself all hyped beforehand just to find out your plan isn't going to work out after all. That's exactly what happened in my case. My retail therapy was supposed to take place in a totally different region with a different person, but I ended up at a place I wasn't equally excited about instead. However, the fact that I didn't leave empty-handed and brought a couple of gems with me proves that I managed to turn it into a success anyway. The pink necklace is something me and my mom have been craving ever since I spotted it on H&M website, so I am glad I got my hands on it. I strongly believe this is one of the colours that suit me best, while my mom is a fan of slightly bigger necklaces. So, the first thing I heard her say after I pulled the necklace out of my bag was 'you will lend it to me every now and then, right?' The black one might not be clearly visible, but it looks like a rosary- I have seen a couple of fashion bloggers pull off this look and felt like experimenting a little myself. Stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something you wouldn't have even thought about a while ago is always an enriching experience. I can undoubtedly say I can't wait to put all my new stuff on!

All in all, the little road trip of mine can definitely be qualified as some much needed 'me' time. One of the highlights of my day was in the parking lot, when I was sitting all by myself in the car and this song came on the radio. What does a person like me do in such a situation, you might ask? Crank it up and start singing along as if I was pulling some kind of a one-man show... just to notice right in the middle that there's a guy sitting in the car next to me. Luckily enough he was poring over some newspaper, totally unaware of what was going on around him... so, you know they say- show must go on!
